I first came here in 2002 and have been coming back off and on ever since. I have had a blast with every visit. They allowed me into their meadow to ride my atv, play with my dogs, and even light some fireworks on the Fourth of July. They informed everyone at the park I was going to light fireworks and I had a great crowd who enjoyed what I was doing even though it was raining. The services offered at this campground are great and the people who have managed this place over the years are even better. The showers are clean and well maintained. The campsites themselves offer enough space for the entire family. The workers at Glacier Meadows patrol the grounds continuously to ensure the safety of the people enjoying their campground. Along with offering advice on local sites/attractions to visit during your stay. They always do their best to accommodate your every need within the campground. And in my opinion there isn't a better campground in the area for the money you're going to spend.

For starters if you're in this area cell and/or wifi service should be the last of your worries or thoughts. If you decide to make the trek to Glacier I would think that most people would visit with the hopes of getting away from or avoiding technology (netflix, directv, Facebook, etc). Once you enter the inner sections of the park itself there is no signal anyway. If your visiting this area and plan to spend most of your time on the internet (Bob Jourdan or Wyatt Thomas) then don't go because this place isn't what you need. You need to be at a Starbucks sipping your latte on the free wifi with your stuck up friends. If you can't go a few days or even a week without cell service then you have an addiction and need to seek help for that addiction. Also everywhere you go throughout the entire state of Montana there is either wind or a slight breeze, that is something people in Montana have learned to live/deal with. With all that being said this campground, in my opinion, is one of the best campgrounds I have ever visited...ANYWHERE, ANY STATE.

Very clean, plenty of activities, Verizon hot spot, very nice people

Why people can not survive having no internet,tv or wifi, how did or parents survive?? Dont we look for the silence??

This was a great rv site, lots of room between spaces, level gravel sites, a large meadow adjacent to most pull through sites that you can let your dogs run loose if you are far enough away and your dogs are trained to come on command. The people were very nice, we even had to have our battery jumped and they took care of that. The only downside to this park is poor wifi, it barely was strong enough to get your email up. It is between both park entrances, about 15 miles to the east entrance and a bit over that to the west entrance. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet, peaceful, great view. Internet is free, but limited as its satellite. Cellphone coverage is spotty, but they have a booster in the pavillion. Don't complain about Internet or cellphone....Your camping! If you need these, stay home ;-)

If you're in the Glacier area to sit on your phone, watch tv, or be on the Internet continuously then this place isn't for you. If your there to enjoy nature, wildlife, and get away from it all (technology included) the Glacier Meadows/Glacier National Park area should be exactly what you're looking for.
